SPRING!!!

Spring is here and all that comes along with it! The flowering trees, beautiful weather and happier kids because they can play outside until their hearts are content! But.....with spring also comes the dirt in the house again, the baths every night, the dirt ring in the bath tub has also reappeared (despite how many times you clean it), the swearing husband who is finding all the things winter left us with (frozen pipes, busted sprinkler stuff..i don't know the right terms here) and a rejoicing momma because the inside of the stays cleaner a little bit longer! I love Spring!!
The Saturday before Easter, we went to the Stansbury Park Easter Egg hunt! It was a riot. Carter was all about getting as many eggs as he could. Berklie on the other hand, only wanted two eggs and the goodies that were inside them!

He made out pretty good with 4 eggs, considering some kids got none. He was thrilled.
Berklie and her eggs. Mat actually got both of them for her. Good job Mat.
Easter morning at our house. The bunny was good to the kids this year! Carter was super cute as he saw the goodies he got.

The Easter bunny hid a few eggs in our backyard Sunday morning. Once again, Carter was so excited to get as many as he could and Berklie only wanted what was inside the eggs.

Berklie would find an egg and have to open it right away. She made a little line up of her goods and also took a little nibble out of each treat.
Carter found so many eggs that he ditched the basket and used the dump truck instead.
Berklie's favorite past time.....she's swinging, can't you tell?

I tried to snap some cute pictures of the kids after church, but having them face the sun and try to smile didn't work so well. They both looked adorable in their Easter outfits!

A little backyard fun.
Yep, we even have superman in our backyard!

A Carter Funny

My mom sent the kids "The Tale of Despereaux" for Easter. They first couldn't wait to open the package and then couldn't wait to watch the movie. Well, one of the first scenes shows a cute little baby mouse. Carter looked at me and said, "Mom, baby mouses are much cuter than our babies". Ha ha ha ha. Funny kid.

Our sweet girl is 2!!!!

2 years ago our sweet baby girl was born! She started out sweet and calm, and now she is a crazy, happy, silly, emotional, tantrum throwing two year old! We still can't get enough of her, and even Carter misses her when she is taking a nap. This past year she has changed so much! She is talking up a storm, she wrestles with her brother,(and can hold her own) is slowly becoming a picky eater, wants to do everything that Carter does, loves her daddy, loves to scream when she doesn't get her way, loves her babies and (my favorite) she gives the best kisses and hugs! I love to watch her learn and grow and discover the world around her. Happy Birthday Berklie!!
1 year old, lovin' the cake!16 months, enjoying some garden treats! The birthday celebrating begins!

Pretty bracelets from Grandma & Grandpa BellThe complete outfit! She LOVES princesses. Thanks G'ma & G'pa.Her favorite card. "Emo" Thanks Great Gram and Pops. For her birthday we took her to The Aquarium. She loved all the fishies! Most of all, she loved seeing her cousins, Luke & Bentley. "Ewww, ca ca". Is what she said when she saw this spider.
After seeing all the fun fish with the family, (Rich & Leslie, Luke & Bentley, Andy & Natasha, Jen & Jeremy, Ryan & Kris) we went to Rock Creek Pizza for some yummy lunch and good conversation. Berklie was spoiled by her aunts, uncles and cousins! Thanks so much for coming to celebrate her b'day and for the very cute gifts.

After a much needed nap, we gave Berklie the gifts that we got for her and Grammie and Boppa gifts.
Showing off the shades from Carter. Her first Cabbage Patch from Grammie Weeze and Boppa and some cute jammies!! Thanks mom and dad.
Tea for two?
And finally, the good part, the CAKE. I attempted to make a strawberry cake...but, it turned out to be an earthquake strawberry cake. It still tasted good and Berk didn't mind.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL!
