I forgot that I made these videos for Grandma and Grandpa Bell since we weren't able to be with them this Christmas season. Carter loves singing! Now you can see it first hand.

Christmas Fun!
We had a really fun Christmas season! I know this is a long post with tons of pictures, but I thought I'd just show them all! It all started with the hunt for the perfect tree in the Tabiona mountains. Thanks to Rich for helping us get our tree. We were the Grizwalds that day. But, we got the perfect tree....
and waited for Christmas to arrive....
In the meantime, Carter's preschool put on a little program for the parents. It was pretty cute! They sang 4 songs, actions included!
The Sunday before Christmas, we dolled them all up for the Primary Christmas program. Carter shoved his way up front and sang his little heart out for all the congregation to hear.

The eve of Christmas Eve, we push the couch together and sleep out under the tree. This is the second year we've done it and Carter loves it! This year he actually went to sleep! Maybe next year Berklie can join us. I didn't get any pictures, but before this we had a fun party with the Bell family! We ate some yummy food and swapped gifts. It was a lot of fun!
Christmas Eve! It's time for matching "jam-jams". Aren't they cute? The adults got them too, but I'll spare you the pictures.
"SANTA CAME!!!! YEAH"!! Carter was laying in bed with Mat and I came in the room and whispered that Santa came! Carter got so excited. I think he forgot it was Christmas morning until I told him who had been there. He ran into Berklie's room yelling, "Santa came Berk, WAKE UP"! She was confused for a second, but then saw her brothers excitement and couldn't wait to see what it was all about.
Carter checking out the loot that Santa brought!
Berklie started heading for Carter's presents and then she looked back and saw her own!

She found the good stuff and was taking it from every one's stockings.
My parents came from Colorado to celebrate Christmas with us! We all loved having them here for the week! We miss them too.

Ooo, la la. A new scarf. Ok, so I had already worn it before Christmas, but it was still new.

Berklie tore the paper off of this package, saw the picture of it and then laid down on the box! She was so excited about it and couldn't wait to play with it. It is for sure her favorite toy! Good job Grammie and Boppa.

Carter was so excited about Christmas this year and asked for two things, "a helicopter with a comote (remote) and a duck spinny game". Santa brought him a helicopter, but it didn't have a remote. Santa thought he was a little too young for that this year. He did get the duck game though.
We gave both kids snow clothes. Berklie loved the hat and gloves!
December 26th was my mom's 58th birthday! (sorry mom, I had to say it) We had a fun day! We went to eat at The Garden and then we went to Temple Square to see the beautiful lights and we had a carriage ride. Aside from the fact that it was FREEZING, it was a lot of fun. At home we had some delish cake and did our traditional birthday toast. I love you momma.
Berklie's First Haircut!!
It was about time to trim up her hair a little. I think it was starting to look like a little baby mullet. So, I took her over to my friend Lori's to have it cut. I thought Berklie would love it because she loves having her hair done, but she wasn't so excited about someone she didn't know combing her hair! Good thing there wasn't much to cut and it only took a few minutes. She sure looked cute afterwards! I am crossing my fingers that the trim will help it grow!!

NOO!!!
I was laying in bed this morning listening to Carter and Berklie play in the bathroom. It sounded harmless enough, so I decided to stay warm and cozy in my bed. Then I heard this, "Yeah, drink it Berklie, that's really funny"! Mat shot out of bed to find Carter in hysterics and Berklie drinking toilet water! GROSS!! We took off her PJ's that were soaked with toilet water, but there's not a lot you can do about what she already consumed. Such a nice brother!

I'm letting the secret out!
Mat and I have been trying to think of a creative way to do this post, but our creativity has come up with nothing. So, here it is....BABY BELL NUMBER THREE....is making it's debut sometime around June 27th! I am just shy of 11 weeks. We are thrilled and a bit nervous to be out numbered.

Thanksgiving excitement!
This year for Turkey day we went to the Bell cabin with all brothers and sisters. The Turkey dinner was great, although I wasn't really looking forward to a fried turkey. (sorry Rich) But, I was surprised and I actually like it. Everything else was great, but my favorite was Momma's Thanksgiving Yams! Love them. We had a blast playing games and riding the Rhino around with the kids. We were supposed to cut down our Christmas tree Saturday morning, but the cabin turned into a puke fest, so we all took off as quick as we could in hopes that we'd be at our homes hurling in our own toilets. Thankfully, these Bells didn't get it. One of my favorite things about Thanksgiving is the leftovers and because we weren't sure what the heck was causing all the puking, we threw it ALL away! Yep, it's true, we did. So, we are having "Thanksgiving Part II" on Thursday, just for some good leftovers.
Yummy food!
