running and running and running......
I'm back! Yep, I finally got into this awesome doctor, Dr. Toronto here in SL. He's a sports medicine doctor that my two sister in laws highly reccomened. He was well worth the 2 week wait. Anyway, I found out that I have tendinidous, just like I thought. Good news for me that it's not a stress fracture or anything like that. So, he gave me some steroids (yeah baby) and a wedge to put in my shoe and already I have noticed a huge difference! He said I'll be totally good to go. 3 weeks baby. I'm stoked. Wahoooo!!!

One year photos

I had to post a few of these adorable pictures of Berklie!! My friend Nikki did an awesome job once again. I love that they all show her personality. She loves to smile, but not when you want her too. But, she had a lot of fun being outside and playing in the dirt and eating the flowers. We love our Berklie and are so grateful for her sweet personality. (Oh yeah, and for all my local peeps out there, watch my blog for a link to Nikki's website.)
lunch time
Berklie and I are sitting here eating lunch and Mat and Carter are upstairs causing a ruckus. Berklie stops eating and starts yelling, "Ca-ca, Da-da" over and over. So funny. I love that she is starting to communicate with us. It's pretty cute. I might just regret saying that when she starts being sassy, but right now I love it.
So, I thought I might give the latest update on the running, or lack there of right now. I went out on Saturday to run a 20. I was pretty excited for it. It was a beautiful morning, I saw like 4 shooting stars and all I wanted to do was run for the love!!! But, my tendonidus started acting up right away and I was only able to run I think 4 miles before I had to stop. It was so disappointing, I was really bummed all day. I felt the worst for my partner who continue running either because of me. But, I am hoping that I can get into this sports medicine doc who it supposed to be really really good. Maybe he can work some magic so that I can complete my marathon and continue running. I hope.

Happy Birthday Sweet Berklie!
It feels like yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital. Our tiny little Berk. Now she is almost 20 pounds, crawling like crazy and eating everything in sight. We can hardly believe how fast the time went! Berklie is one year old already. It's been so fun watching her grow up and learn little tricks. We all adore her and love having her in our family. We all still love to get her up from her naps and race to get to her room first. She laughs the most for Carter, despite what he's doing and has recently started calling him "Ca-Ca". It's pretty cute. She is such a happy baby and will smile at anyone that smiles at her. (She is still a little weary of people other than her mom and dad, but I am sure that she'll grow out of that soon.) The best way to get her to smile is to put her in her high chair and feed her. She loves to eat. If she is crying, your best bet is to feed her. She doesn't walk quite yet, but she loves to shake it when the music comes on and she can even do a few signs; more, eat and drink. We adore our little Berklie and thank Heavenly Father everday for blessing us with such a sweet little girl. She turned one April 4th, and we had a little family dinner and gave her a dolly and doll cradle. Then on the 7th we had the family over for a party. Grammie Weeze and Boppa were in town and able to celebrate with us, Grandma and Grandpa Bell, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends were all here to celebrate. We stipped her down to her diaper so she could more fully enjoy her chocolate cake. When everyone sang to her she cried....but as soon as she tasted the cake, she forgot all about crying. Then, she ate her whole cake. Grammie thought we should stop her, but you only turn one once, so live it up! After a quick bath she opened her presents from the family. After everyone left that night, it only took her an hour longer to go to sleep. It was a fun day. Happy Birthday my sweet Berklie.
yummy.

Correction
In my last blog I went on and on about things that I like about myself and then I tagged a few friends to do the same thing. First I'll say thanks for all the compliments (i liked hearing about what you had to say about me) but what I meant was for you to do it about YOU. Sillies.
