Berklie's First Haircut!!

It was about time to trim up her hair a little. I think it was starting to look like a little baby mullet. So, I took her over to my friend Lori's to have it cut. I thought Berklie would love it because she loves having her hair done, but she wasn't so excited about someone she didn't know combing her hair! Good thing there wasn't much to cut and it only took a few minutes. She sure looked cute afterwards! I am crossing my fingers that the trim will help it grow!!

It's so much fun when the kids are finally excited huh?
Our girls got the same little ball popper as Berklie and they love it, although Jackson gets so perturbed if they run off with the balls instead of putting them back in LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO, ha ha!

The Funky Bunch said...: Awww, poor girl. Ash cried when Lori cut her hair too. She's not so sure about me putting her on a chair and having a stranger doing things to it. After we left she kept asking when we could go back and told everyone about the Lori with red hair. So funny. Glad it's finally cut...and it looks so cute!; January 1, 2009 at 2:51 PM

Carter Says

June 2009- I asked Carter to get a diaper for me....he looked at me with a very serious look on his face and said, "Mom, you had the baby, so you have to get the diapers now."

March 26th, 2009- In the public bathroom Carter announced to me that he was, "wiping his butt faces". I about peed my pants!!!

Feb. 2009- after ordering chicken fingers at Mimi's Cafe Carter said, "Where are the holes? I wanted chicken fingers that come with holes in them." Why carter? "Because they are supposed to fit on your fingers so you can have chicken fingers."

October 8th- while hugging me, "I love you mommie, (pause) and I like you too."

October 5th- "When I'm like a daddy, I'm going to marry Berklie."

Sept. 9th- Carter woke up from his nap and told me, "you will have a baby in your tummy soon mom, well two babies. You can name them Fu-Fu and Sinkapon. Fu Fu is the boy and Sinkapon is the girl. The boy is for me and the girl is for Berklie."

July 5th -I asked Carter this morning what he wanted for his birthday, he thought about it for a minute and then said, "A green dress to go with my green necklace"!

June '08-Carter did a sommersault today and I asked him where he learned to do such a cool trick. Enthusiastically he responded, "from Jesus".

June '08-Carter woke up this morning and informed me that his cough was gone. I asked where did it go? He said, "Heavenly Father took it back".

July '08- Carter said, "I pee yellow because that's my favorite color."

August '08-Carter asked, "Why do we have ears?"
Why do you think we have ears Carter?
He said, "So we don't have to go in timeout as long".

August '08-Carter asked, "Why do we have hair?"
Dad said, Well, some people don't have hair Carter. Carter thought about this for a minute and said, "Yeah, Grandpas with mustaches don't have hair." (sorry dad!!)

August '08- While I was getting Carter ready for bed he said, "If I stick my bum in the air mom, it's silly, (pause) and gross, (pause) and funny!"

Berklie says

Dec. 09'- Mom says, "Berklie, look at all the pretty snow! She says,"It's too much".

August 09'- "kiss my nog (nose) dadda".

"nigh-nigh" - night night
"tweet-tweet"- used to mean bird, now it's anything in the air

"daddie"- she loves to stand at the top of the stairs and yell this down to him while he is working. she already knows he can't resist and will come upstairs.
