The Kiddies

Sweet babes is 4 months! She is 15 lbs. 12 oz. and 26.5 inches long. We have tried rice cereal, but she's not quite ready for it yet. She loves to watch us eat though, so it won't be too much longer! She is getting so big so fast! Watch out for Berklie! In case you can't tell, in one hand she has a baby and in the other she has Carters play gun. Perfect. Does that mean she'll be a protective mom? I was cooking dinner and looked down to find a small lump in my kitchen rug. Berklie was "hiding". We had a really hard time finding her. Yesterday we got our first snow of the year! The kids were so excited and couldn't wait until dinner was over to go play. (hence Berklie's bib) Last year Berklie didn't like the snow, this year she can't seem to get enough of it. We got a few inches last night and the kids played in it for about an hour.
Catching snowflakes in their mouths.

Bundled up and ready to play.

I wish my camera took better photos at night. The kids were all over the yard, but the camera only worked on the patio with the lights. They were cracking me up. The simple pleasures of life.
Here is Carter reciting his part for the annual primary program at church. He was so proud that he had it memorized! When it came down to doing it at church, he got some help. After the program he told me that he would do it by himself next year. He's such a big boy! It was so much fun helping him memorize it. (this was his part: "The Family: A Proclamation to The World, teaches the importance of marriage.")

We are excited to meet Oaklie for the first time and see Carter, and Berklie again. Wow, snow! That first snow storm is so fun! Carter is all grown up in his Sunday outfit. We are proud of him and will look forward to hearing his part next year We'll have to play hide&seek with Berklie. Love you guys!

Rice cereal already! You are brave. We'll be trying it soon, we are not looking forward to the nastier diapers! I love the suit too, what a stud.
